Apple-Cinnamon Pies

    Sweet and spicy: If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love these apple-cinnamon pies. Especially if it's cold outsite, this dessert is a real treat when served warm. Quick and easy to make.

    Recipe for 15 pies


Ingredients:
  • Cake dough, rolled
  • 8 heaped tablespoons of apple-cinnamon jam (ca. 500 g)
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of double cream
  • Cinnamon
  • Paper or aluminium cookie moulds (ca. 6 - 8 cm Ø)

Preparation:
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
  • Mix apple-cinnamon jam well with the double cream
  • Cut out round pieces from the dough using a knife or a round stencil (about 6-8 cm)
  • Put dough into the moulds (if you use paper moulds, best use two at the time)
  • Fill with 1 tablespoon of the mixture per cookie
  • Important: Don't fill the cookies up to the rim to prevent them from flowing over in the oven
  • Sprinkle with some cinnamon
  • Bake for about 30 minutes in the middle of the oven


Tip:
  • Serve warm
  • Decorate the plate with a homemade papercut pattern and a little cinnamon
